I am Raniya Bai, 60 years old. My family goes out for labor work. A few days ago, my daughter-in-law passed away due to cancer, and since then, my home has fallen apart. Everyone is in shock. There are six people in my family.
We are living in poverty. I went to the village head and secretary and asked them to arrange my BPL card, ration card, and documents for the farmer’s honorarium, but no one listened to me.
An organization (Grameen Swalamban Samiti) is working in our village. I went to them and explained my problem. Then Seema Ji took me to the village head and secretary, prepared all the necessary documents, and after all the paperwork was done, Seema Ji took me to the tehsil office, where she submitted the documents and obtained approval.
Now my BPL card has been made, the ration card has been prepared, and I am getting subsidized rations from the government store.
The organization has supported me a lot. That’s why today my family is living a normal life. I believe that struggling in any situation is necessary, and a helping hand always comes forward, just like I got the support of the Grameen Swalamban Samiti.
