A special program was organized on the occasion of International Labour Day by Gramin Swavalamban Samiti in collaboration with the Police Department at the Police Control Room, Tikamgarh.
The Chief Guest, Superintendent of Police Mr. Manohar Singh Mandloi, appreciated the contribution of workers and emphasized the importance of awareness regarding their rights, safety, and dignity.
🌸 On this occasion, women workers—Shashi Vanshkar, Sakun Vanshkar, Lachhi Bai, Sheela Bai, and Laxmi Ahirwar—were felicitated for their resilience in supporting their families under challenging conditions.
📚 Reserve Inspector Mr. Kanak Singh Chauhan highlighted the importance of education for the children of migrant workers, stressing that education is the foundation of a better future.
🎁 At the end of the program, school bags and tiffins were distributed to children, along with essential items for workers.
✨ The event marked an important initiative towards promoting dignity of labour, social security, and awareness about education.
