I am Halki Ahirwar, aged 45 years. My husband got murdered by some people a few years back, and since then, I have become destitute. The organisation Gramin Swavlamban Samiti helped me a lot for our cause. Firstly, they got the murderer punished legally and then the organisation helped me to get compensation of 8 lakh. The organisation has consistently kept me informed and made me aware the past 6 years.
When my family was going through stress, the organisation arranged me a job as a warden in a government hostel in Baldevgarh. Since then I have been working here.
Still, my son gets into depression after recalling those past incidents. The organisation helped me a lot that enabled me to live a normal life.
The way organisation has helped me, similarly, I have thought to helped other needy persons, specially, the underprivileged and poor. Last year, Ganeshi’s husband died in an accident. I helped Ganeshi in claiming compensation and now I am looking for a work for her to sustain her life as any other person.
The organisation is giving us hope to live with dignity in our villages.
